British Airways adds Rabat, Graz and Madrid to short-haul network

British Airways is boosting its short-haul network with the addition of three new routes for the 2025 winter season, expanding its European coverage to 130 destinations. Flights will connect London to Rabat (Morocco), Graz (Austria), and Madrid (Spain), offering travelers greater flexibility and more direct options for city breaks and business travel.
British Airways’ Gatwick-based subsidiary, BA Euroflyer, will begin twice-weekly flights to Rabat from 5 November 2025, with departures on Wednesdays and Sundays. Rabat becomes the airline’s third Moroccan destination, after Marrakech and Agadir, and is known for its year-round sunshine, vibrant markets, and unique blend of modern and traditional culture.
Additionally, BA Euroflyer will launch a three-times-weekly service to Graz starting 21 November 2025, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Graz is the fourth Austrian city in the BA network, joining Vienna, Salzburg, and Innsbruck, and is especially attractive for winter travelers seeking festive markets and alpine charm.
“The addition of Rabat and Graz reinforces our commitment to offer more choice and value to our customers,” said Karen Hilton, Managing Director of BA Euroflyer. “We’re proud to connect London to these fantastic destinations with direct flights and elevated service.”
BA Cityflyer: More flights to Madrid from London City
British Airways’ Cityflyer subsidiary will begin 11 weekly flights to Madrid from London City Airport starting 1 December 2025. This new route complements existing Heathrow–Madrid flights and improves connectivity, particularly for those connecting onward to South America.
Flight times have been tailored for both business and leisure travelers, with early morning and evening departures ideal for same-day returns or long-haul connections.
