BA Adds Tivat and Guernsey to 2026 Short-Haul Network
British Airways is expanding its European network with two new short-haul destinations for 2026: Tivat in Montenegro and Guernsey in the Channel Islands. The additions bring the airline’s Heathrow short-haul network to nearly 100 destinations.
Seasonal flights to Tivat will begin on 14 May 2026 from London Heathrow Terminal 3, operating three times per week. The service marks the only direct connection between Heathrow and the Montenegrin coast.
Year-round flights to Guernsey will launch on 19 April 2026, operating daily from Heathrow Terminal 5. This will be the only direct service linking Heathrow with the island, offering well-timed onward connections to over 20 European and several North American destinations.
“We’re pleased to be expanding our route map with two new routes, bringing our Heathrow short-haul network close to 100 destinations,” said Neil Chernoff, Chief Planning and Strategy Officer at British Airways. “Montenegro offers stunning coastlines and sunshine, while Guernsey is a route customers have been eagerly awaiting.”
Tivat, Montenegro
Known for its dramatic Adriatic coastline, historic towns such as Kotor and Budva, and access to national parks including Durmitor, Tivat is increasingly popular with international travellers.
