Avis Budget Group Announces Partnership with Iberia

 

Iberia has agreed a new partnership with Avis Budget Group, which has become the exclusive car rental partner of Iberia Plus – the airline's loyalty programme.

'We Travel Together' is the name of the partnership's launch campaign. It underlines the chance Iberia Plus members have to receive Avios for every rental booked.

When Iberia Plus Members will make their fourth rental each year, they collect 750 bonus Avios.

Also, when members sign up to the Avis Preferred loyalty scheme, they will earn 500 Avios.

Customers who rent with Avis twice in one year and are signed up to Avis Preferred, receive a money-off voucher and a free vehicle upgrade voucher.

If an additional vehicle is hired that year, travellers will benefit from a free weekend's rental car in Europe.

Among other benefits of this partnership agreement there is priority service at Madrid airport counters and a free additional driver on all rentals.

"We are very happy with the deal reached with Iberia," said Ramón Biarnés, commercial director of Avis Budget Group in the European Southern Region.

"We have a long standing agreement with Iberia and the effects have been overwhelmingly positive.

"This step is to reestablish our relationship and we expect all Iberia Plus customers to enjoy the benefits of our agreement."
