American Constellation to be inaugurated

As announced by American Cruise Lines company, the latest cruise ship’s construction is complete, as the vessel is ready to begin its water trips.

With the construction over far ahead of schedule, American Constellation awaits for its inaugural season starting in May. The ship will serve two already sold out Chesapeake Bay cruises departing on May 6th and May 13th.

After these events, American Constellation will operate the same itinerary as the cruise-line's Grand New England route, with the official inaugural cruise celebration set for May 21st.

With the occasion of the announcement, the VP of American Cruise Lines, Timothy Beebe, commented:

“Our new ships raise the standard for cruising in the United States. The American Constellation is beautiful and we are thrilled to have it early. More details about the first in the series will be made available very soon.”

The ship is part of the American Cruise Lines’ plan to build a modern fleet of five riverboats. American Constitution is currently available for booking for passengers worldwide.
