Alitalia: one million tickets at discounted rates

One million lucky passengers will be able to reach incredible Turkish destinations with discounted prices, as Alitalia launches its “autumn campaign”, a global promotion giving passengers the chance to travel to Italy at particularly attractive rates and taking advantage of convenient connections from the Rome Fiumicino hub to other Italian cities or destinations.
Tourists can buy the tickets until 19th of September and can enjoy them until 15th of December, with a price starting from 98 euros from Istanbul to Italian destinations.
Tickets may be purchased online at alitalia.com, in travel agencies and at airport ticket offices (sales commissions may vary). MilleMiglia members can earn miles on all fares under the promotion, with an extra 5,000 bonus miles for those who choose to fly in Premium Economy or Business Class by 19 September 2016.
Other great news coming from Alitalia this autumn is that the Italian company and Virgin Australia have strengthened their codeshare agreement to offer Italian air travelers eight new Australian destinations. John Shepley, Chief Strategy and Planning Officer, Alitalia said: “The expanded cooperation with Virgin Australia will provide Italian air travellers with a wider range of Australian destinations for business travel and holidaymakers to bring Italy and Australia even closer. And this new arrangement opens up a variety of Italian cities throughout the whole country for Australian flyers.” The codeshare agreement means travelers can benefit from a single ticket for the entire journey with luggage checked-in at the departure airport and delivered to the final destination. The new codeshare flights are now available for sale through the airlines' reservation systems, as well as in travel agencies.
