Alaska’s Atmos Rewards Expands Global Benefits
Alaska Airlines is highlighting the combined power of its Atmos Rewards loyalty program and the oneworld alliance, saying the partnership gives travelers a more seamless global travel experience.
Through the Atmos Rewards program, members can earn and redeem points across an extensive global network that includes Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines and more than 30 partner airlines, including those within the oneworld alliance. The combined network connects travelers to over 1,000 destinations worldwide.
The integration also allows Atmos Rewards elite members to automatically receive equivalent oneworld alliance status tiers, providing benefits such as lounge access, priority check-in, priority boarding and additional baggage allowances when flying with partner airlines.
For example, travelers with Atmos Gold status, which requires around 40,000 status points, are recognized as oneworld Sapphire members across the alliance’s global network of airlines. This recognition means benefits extend beyond Alaska Airlines flights to partner carriers such as Japan Airlines, Cathay Pacific and Qantas.
The partnership also simplifies the airport experience for frequent travelers by offering coordinated loyalty recognition across airlines. Benefits like access to business-class lounges on eligible itineraries, even when flying economy on international routes, help improve comfort and efficiency during connections.
Looking ahead, the global reach of the program is expected to expand further as Hawaiian Airlines joins the oneworld alliance in 2026, increasing opportunities for members to earn and redeem rewards across even more routes and destinations.
According to Alaska Airlines, the combination of Atmos Rewards and oneworld is designed to deliver a more flexible and rewarding loyalty experience that reflects how modern travelers fly across multiple airlines and regions.
