Airspace by Airbus cabin brand to be launched by TAP
By introducing Airspace by Airbus cabin brand, TAP becomes the first airline to operate the A330neo airliner
TAP air-carrier owns 61 operational Airbus aircrafts. To expand the company's long-haul services, two more A330s will be added to the fleet at the beginning of this summer.
Planes from the latest generation of A320neo and A330neo families are also scheduled to join the company. TAP has already placed orders for two new A330-800neo and A330-900neo.
Airspace by Airbus cabin features include the ultimate comfort ambiance, a LED-based lighting system, larger overhead bins, upgraded lavatories, high-tech in-flight entertainment and boosted connectivity.
Moreover, the A330neo is equipped with a powerful Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines and aerodynamic enhancements that reduce fuel consumption by 14 per cent per seat.
The latest Airbus aircrafts will begin operating at the end of 2017.
