Air Canada Launches New Motorcoach Link Between Hamilton, Waterloo Region, and Toronto Pearson
Air Canada, in collaboration with The Landline Company, has initiated a motorcoach service that offers direct, seamless connections from Hamilton-Wentworth and Waterloo Region to Toronto Pearson International Airport. This service is designed to provide travelers in Southern Ontario with easier access to Air Canada’s extensive global network.
The service, which commenced today, operates six non-stop round trips daily from each of the Hamilton and Region of Waterloo airports to Toronto Pearson. This integration allows passengers to check in for their flights at their departure airport and board an Air Canada-branded luxury motorcoach, which will take them directly to their terminal at Toronto Pearson.
Premium Travel Experience
Each motorcoach, manufactured by Canada's Prevost in Sainte-Claire, Quebec, offers a premium travel experience with 36 spacious leather seats arranged in a comfortable two-by-one configuration. Passengers can enjoy complimentary WiFi, power outlets at each seat, ample overhead storage, and onboard lavatory facilities. The coaches are also fully accessible, equipped with a power lift for passengers requiring mobility aids.
"We are thrilled to launch our new motorcoach service, which will significantly enhance the connectivity between Hamilton, the Region of Waterloo, and our global hub at Toronto Pearson," said Ranbir Singh, Director Regional Airlines and Markets at Air Canada. "This service not only offers convenience but also ensures a smooth and comfortable journey for our passengers."
Seamless Connectivity and Benefits
Passengers using this service will benefit from full itinerary protection, meaning that in the event of any delays, whether on the road or in the air, they will be automatically rebooked on the next available service. Additionally, members of Air Canada's Aeroplan program will earn points for both the ground and air segments of their journey.
Nick Johnson, Vice President, Commercial for Landline, commented on the partnership: "Our collaboration with Air Canada is a testament to our commitment to providing top-tier travel experiences. Our motorcoach service is designed to make traveling as effortless and enjoyable as possible, with a direct connection to Air Canada flights."
This new service highlights Air Canada’s ongoing commitment to regional development and its focus on innovative multimodal travel solutions. It aligns with broader efforts to enhance travel infrastructure and services across Canada, ensuring that more regions are effectively connected to global travel networks.
