The launch of Costa neoClassica cruises marks the Costa Cruises Indian market debut. For the first time, Indians will benefit Mumbai-Goa-Cochin-Maldives-Colombo amazing routes for unforgettable holidays.

As customers in this part of the world begun expressing increased interest towards the cruise tourism sector, the launch of cruising between Mumbai and the Maldives is considered to be a part of Costa Cruises' expansion strategy plan for India.

Starting this year's December 16th Costa neoClassica will begin operating weekly sailing departing from Mumbai and leading to enchanting destinations in the Southern Asia area.

With the occasion of the launch, Buhdy Bok, the president of Costa Group Asia commented:

“We are delighted to bring cruising to Indians at their doorstep. For many travellers, the holiday often starts after some sort of a long journey. Now like never before, Indians will have the opportunity to start holidaying - right from their door-step - from India’s largest metropolis, Mumbai.”

With a total of 654 cabins, Costa neoClassica is the first large cruise ship to travel between Mumbai and the Maldives.
