On April 21, the third World Jazz Festival edition will be held in Delhi. It will feature musicians from India, the USA, Thailand and Serbia.
Jazz's improvisational nature allows musicians to create new patterns and experiment on the spot.
This festival is a great way to learn more about Jazz music. You can see world-class musicians performing the rhythm and melody of Jazz music.
Jazz is loved for its ability to allow musicians to experiment and improvise while they play along to the music. There is something wonderful about Jazz, which doesn't require you to follow any set pattern. It's all about creating as you go. That's what makes Jazz so beautiful.
India's jazz scene is already quite interesting. There is a strong Jazz community in metro cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Jazz, as we said, allows you to experiment and improvise, just like our musicians. We have Indo-Jazz in India. It's an entirely different genre.
The World Jazz Festival 2020 has seen a huge response from cities such as Pune, Bengaluru and Mumbai.
The World Jazz Festival will be held in collaboration with the Amersfoort Jazz Festival, The Netherlands. The World Jazz Festival will be covering five Indian cities: Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, and Pune.
