Two new INNSiDE by Meliá hotels have opened in Sicily

News

The latest debuts mark the company's continued expansion in Italy.

With the launch of these two hotel projects in Italy, Meliá Hotels International is continuing its development in one of the most important European markets.

“We are proud to extend our presence in the top Mediterranean destinations, destinations that have seen our company grow ever since we first began and where we have extensive experience in the hospitality industry“, commented Gabriel Escarrer, Executive Vice President and CEO of Meliá Hotels International.

The expansion of the company's INNSiDE by Meliá brand internationally has picked up speed during the past years, with 48 hotels either operational or in the planning stages in key travel hubs across the globe.

The INNSiDE Noto, nestled in Sicily's south-east, will feature 146 rooms and vast seaside amenities. To make sure that its guests have a pleasant stay, the hotel will provide several outdoor spaces, such as a pool and a beach club with a hammock lounge, as well as a wide variety of culinary selections. INNSiDE Noto was designed to be an adaptable hotel also for the MICE market, with features including a fully-equipped fitness centre and many generous event spaces.

The rooftop terrace, over 1500 square meters, will provide breathtaking views of the ocean and will be one of the venue's most distinctive features. Moreover, the INNSiDE Noto will offer guests the opportunity of exploring the Noto Valley and its many Sicilian Baroque masterpieces, so it is considered to be more than just a luxurious seaside hotel.

The INNSiDE Cala Rossa's seaside position in Terrasini, one of Sicily's most popular tourist attractions, will be another major perk for guests. Villa Fassini, Castelo di Gazzara, and the Natural Regional History Museum are just a few of the cultural and historical attractions in the region, while Palermo is also within easy reach.

The 115 guest rooms and common spaces of the INNSiDE Cala Rossa have been created with the intention of providing visitors with memorable stays. The hotel will feature an Open Living Lounge meant to bring the hotel to life, along with other amenities like a pool, restaurants serving only the finest gastronomy products, a spa, and conference facilities, giving guests everything they require to make the most of their time while visiting. The hotel will also have a stunning beach club with panoramic ocean views.

Together with the upcoming Meliá Taormina and Meliá Siracusa, also set to debut in 2024, Meliá Hotels International currently operates a total of 11 hotels in Italy.
