Travel writer Jill Paris launches unique Charleston walking tours

CHARLESTON, SC - Eclectic Tours of Charleston, the charming new tour company created by travel writer and licensed city tour guide Jill Paris, launches September 4, 2018, in historic downtown Charleston.

The current duo of exclusive two-hour walking tours not found anywhere else in the city are the Ladies of Charleston tour and the Love Stories of Charleston tour especially appealing to women of all ages, but men are absolutely welcome. "My idea was to create unusual tours that complement the city's allure in a most beguiling way

with unforgettable stories and subject matter," Jill says. "The downtown hotel and retail community have already been incredibly supportive noting that my tours are ideal for their guests including Wedding and Bachelorette parties, Ladies' Clubs, Girls' weekends, Ladies who lunch, Honeymooners, and of course, die-hard romantics like me."

Jill Paris holds an M.A. in Humanities and has taught at the university level. She also has a Master of Professional Writing degree from USC and is the author of Life is Like a Walking Safari. Her essays have been published in several travel magazines and anthologies such as The Best Travel Writing 2009 and The Best Women's Travel Writing Vol. 9, The Saturday Evening Post, and many others. She is also a cancer survivor.
