Tourism Seychelles Middle East Office in partnership with Lulu Travel Corporation mesmerized Abu Dhabi for three days with an enchanting press event.

The press event on Saturday, 1st July, was a hive of excitement. Over 22 media professionals gathered in Abu Dhabi eagerly to experience the magic that is the Seychelles Islands. Ms Bernadette Wilemin, Director General of Destination Marketing engaged the press during the event and provided valuable insight into what makes Seychelles different from other islands. The focus of the discussion was on the efforts made by the Tourism Department to continually develop and enhance Seychelles' tourism experience.

From July 2nd through 3rd, the press and consumer events were continued in the form a mall activation. Visitors were transported into a world filled with beauty and culture at the vibrant Mushrif Mall. The event began with a ceremony of ribbon cutting attended by esteemed guest, including Mrs Stephanie Lablache the Director General for Destination Marketing in the UAE and Mr Ahmed Fathallah the Tourism Seychelles Representative and Regional Manager of GCC Dubai.

She took to the stage to introduce the destination and highlight the unique selling propositions. She highlighted the importance of Abu Dhabi to the Seychelles Islands as a market. She expressed her confidence that the two-day event would spark the imagination of Abu Dhabi's audience, raise Seychelles visibility and inspire an irresistible urge to visit the destination.

A massive screen was lit with video footage that showcased the Seychelles Islands' pristine beaches, lush terrains, and varied attractions. Seychellois musicians and dancers took part in the event to bring the vibrant rhythms of the destination and its rich tradition into the air.

After the event, Mr.Fathallah expressed his sincere gratitude to the press present, recognizing their crucial role in strengthening the relationship between Tourism Seychelles and the travel industry.
