Wizz Air, the largest low-cost carrier in Central and Eastern Europe, took part for the second time in the Budapest aviation show, which took place on the first of May. This year, Wizz Air has participated in event with the new Airbus A321, the first aircraft of this type present at the air show in Budapest.

Captain David Morgan, Wizz Air Chief Flight Operations Officer and Captain Arday András conducted three flights at low altitude above the Danube river. The first flight was conducted at a speed of 140 knots at an altitude of 100 meters in order to highlight the flaps and landing gear.
After a spectacular 45-degree turn near the island of Margarita, the aircraft returned with the landing gear retracted and finally reached a fly speed of 300 knots.

The 321ceo Airbus aircraft is the most efficient single-aisle passenger and was first allocated in November 2015 to the Wizz Air Fleet based in Budapest. The new A321ceo aircraft feature new interior design, new colors inside, a bright ambience in the cabin, soft leather seats and more choices of places.

Budapest has now four A321 aircraft flying on the most popular routes. Due to higher operational efficiency of the aircraft, Wizz Air will offer more seats to more destinations at the lowest rates, while reducing emissions and noise to a minimum.

By 2018 Wizz Air company will own 30 A321 aircrafts in this current version and also will receive delivery of superior A321neo model which will be equipped with advanced technology.
