The Dominican Republic Has Just Released Its Brand-New Winter Campaign

This week, the Dominican Republic Tourism Office unveiled a new winter marketing initiative dubbed "Change The Season".

The ad efforts have the goal of attracting tourists from the United States to visit the half-island country to take advantage of its year-round summer climate.

The Dominican Republic's tourism bureau estimates that visitors from the United States account for 54% of the country's total visitor population. Additionally, it is the location of seven of the top 10 busiest aviation routes in the country.

The campaign captures the spirit of our tropical paradise in the Caribbean as well as the destination's everlasting dedication to making its guests feel at home.

According to the Dominican Republic's Minister of Tourism, David Collado Morales, it is an invitation to leave winter and unveil the everlasting summer these places give.

Since the United States is the country of origin for more than half of its visitors, the officials have geared their ad specifically for Americans. In the Opinion of Morales, "Change the Season" is a demonstration of the dedication to giving guests an experience they will never forget while vacationing in this stunning tropical paradise.

Between January and August of 2023, the Dominican Republic welcomed nearly seven million tourists, which represents a 25 percent increase in visitor numbers compared to the same six-month period in 2022.

The country on the half-island forecasts that the final tally will exceed 10 million by the end of the year, which would set a record much above 2019's record number of 7.5 million.
