Shangri-La Hotel Singapore Introduces Special Spaces for Children

The newly revamped floor allows travelers with youngsters to enjoy their holiday while children can explore the space, adventure in a safari and discover the underwater-themed suites.

Children can now swing like Tarzan, venture into an underwater world and sleep in a fairytale castle, if only their parents decide to book a room at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore.

The suites measure around 818 square feet and feature decorations and designs especially created for kids. For example, children who stay in the safari suite, sleep right next to a tableau of animals from Africa beneath a tent. At the same time, those staying in the underwater suite have a submarine-shaped bed, while the treetop suite ask children to climb a ladder in order to reach the bed inside of a treehouse.

All the above mentioned suites feature two bathrooms: the larger one has oversized sinks for bathing babies, a dedicated space for changing diaper and extra space for storage. Even more, the hotel included pint-sized bathrobes and slippers.

As soon as parents book the suites, they get instant access to supplies such as cat seats, strollers, travel cots, bibs, toys and more, making it the perfect destination for families.

Moreover, children who stay at these suites benefit from a special kids’ menu, which includes items such as beef burgers and ice cream, while adults can take advantage of a dedicated family concierge.

The suites can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children younger than 12. The price per night is $488; for larger families, the suites can connect to a Family Deluxe room in order to create a 3-bedroom suite.
