SAS Launches New Route from Turku to Copenhagen for Summer 2025

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has announced the introduction of a new route connecting Turku Airport to Copenhagen, Denmark, starting in March 2025. This route will enhance travel options for passengers and is scheduled to operate every weekday during the summer season.
Flight Schedule Details
Initially, SAS will operate the Turku-Copenhagen route four times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, from March 31 to May 21, 2025. Following this period, the service will expand to include Wednesdays, allowing flights to be available every weekday.
The route will take a break from Midsummer to early August but will resume weekday flights until the end of the summer season. The route will be serviced by a 122-seat Embraer E195 aircraft.
Enhanced International Connectivity
Petri Vuori, SVP for Sales & Route Development at Finavia, expressed enthusiasm about the new route, stating, “The addition of the Copenhagen-Turku route strengthens Turku’s international accessibility and offers passengers a wide range of connecting flights from Copenhagen to Europe and the United States.”
Existing and Expanded Services
In addition to the new Turku-Copenhagen route, SAS currently offers flights from Turku Airport to Stockholm Arlanda, which will continue throughout the summer of 2025. The airline has also announced an increase in flights from Helsinki Airport to Copenhagen for the upcoming summer season.
