SAS becomes main partner of Swedish charity Min Stora Dag

Mergers and Appointments (MICE)

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has entered a long-term partnership with Swedish charity Min Stora Dag, becoming the organisation’s main partner.

The collaboration aims to provide memorable travel experiences for children living with serious illnesses or diagnoses, helping them enjoy a break from everyday challenges. Around 200,000 children in Sweden are supported by the charity, which creates personalized “Big Days” tailored to each child’s wishes.

Through the partnership, SAS will provide flights as part of these experiences, allowing the organisation to redirect financial resources toward helping more children. Travel often plays a central role in these moments, making the journey itself a key part of the experience.

The two organisations plan to develop initiatives focused on travel and meaningful experiences, while ensuring journeys are as smooth and comfortable as possible for children and their families.

SAS also intends to raise awareness of the charity’s work and engage both customers and employees in supporting its mission.

The partnership highlights the airline’s focus on social impact, using its core expertise in travel to contribute to initiatives that deliver meaningful benefits beyond aviation.
