Red Sea Global to Welcome Guests on Exclusive Island Next Year
Red Sea Global, a leading player in ambitious tourism rejuvenation, will unveil an exclusive island sanctuary next year.
Named the 'Thuwal Private Retreat,' this extraordinary haven is nestled on a 1.7-hectare sandy islet within a coral archipelago along the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia. Unlike traditional resort arrangements, this retreat is available exclusively for guests to purchase outright, ensuring an unparalleled level of seclusion.
The retreat's amenities include a luxurious three-bedroom villa, three one-bedroom suites, a beach club, fitness center, and a holistic wellness center. Notably, this establishment is a unique endeavor for Red Sea Global, as it will be owned, operated, and managed solely by the company, maintaining a distinct separation from The Red Sea and Amaala projects.
In the words of John Pagano, CEO of Red Sea Global:
"This is a milestone for us personally. It is the latest project we can reveal since we announced our expanded portfolio of projects last year and it is significantly advanced in terms of delivery.”
Thuwal Private Retreat is devoted to the fusion of opulence and conscientious sustainability, in response to the growing demand for exclusive-use properties. A prime example is the executive chef's mission to craft delectable meals using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and collaborate with regional artisans to craft distinctive dining experiences.
Given its proximity to vibrant coral reefs, activities at the retreat will encompass snorkeling, and organized visits to the nearby villages of Thuwal or Jeddah will be available.
John Pagano further elucidates the retreat's purpose, stating:
"Thuwal Private Retreat has been created to allow guests the chance to disconnect from the stresses of daily life, and instead reconnect with their closest companions. Our belief is that the sublime Red Sea coast combined with tailored luxury experiences will deliver a peerless escape for the most discerning travellers.”
The Red Sea development, introduced by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in 2017 as the kingdom's latest tourism megaproject, has since blossomed across 28,000 square kilometers of terrain. It encompasses an archipelago of over 90 islands, promising pristine coastlines, unparalleled marine life, and a variety of top-tier lodging options.
Moreover, it will be accessible via the Red Sea International Airport, which recently received its inaugural flight. The first hotel to open within the project is Six Senses Southern Dunes, slated for launch next month.
Amaala, a distinct development centered on luxury tourism and wellness, is also situated along Saudi Arabia's western coast. Its first phase is well underway and is set to host its inaugural guests next year. Amaala's vision includes eight resorts with a combined total of over 1,200 rooms, with plans to expand to more than 25 hotels, luxury residences, fine-dining establishments, and wellness and recreational facilities by its completion in 2027.
