Radisson Collection Hotel, Grand Place Brussels to feature “A Year of Radiance” exhibition during the Bright Brussels Festival, blending art, culture, and Lunar New Year celebrations.

Radisson Collection Hotel, Grand Place Brussels is set to dazzle visitors with an extraordinary exhibition titled “A Year of Radiance” as part of the Bright Brussels Festival, running from February 15th to 18th, 2024. This immersive art installation, commemorating both the hotel’s 35th anniversary and the Lunar Year of the Dragon, will transform the hotel’s seven-story atrium with a mesmerizing multi-faceted video projection.

Nestled in the heart of Brussels, the Radisson Collection Hotel, Grand Place, with its post-modernist architecture dating back to 1989, continues to serve as a beacon of art and culture. The hotel’s collaboration with Visit Brussels for the 2024 Bright Brussels Festival is a testament to its commitment to enriching the city's cultural landscape. The festival, illuminating the Royal and European Quarters, will feature around thirty poetic works by international artists, offering a new perspective on the city's iconic neighborhoods.

“A Year of Radiance” is designed to immerse guests in a visual spectacle, highlighting the hotel’s iconic architecture through a dynamic light dance inspired by nature, Chinese culture, and traditions. This partnership with Belgian production company D-Mines aims to create an interactive experience that resonates with the Lunar New Year celebrations and the hotel’s milestone anniversary.

In addition to the light show, the hotel’s Shanghai Kitchen restaurant is embracing the festivities with a special Chinese New Year menu on Fridays and Saturdays throughout February. Guests can indulge in a blend of traditional and innovative dishes, accompanied by the “Hong Long” cocktail, a tribute to the Year of the Dragon, crafted with Baijiu, vodka, lime, and grenadine.

Radisson Collection, Grand Place Brussels eagerly anticipates welcoming the nearly 400,000 visitors expected to partake in the Bright Brussels experience. The hotel’s involvement in the festival underscores its role as a hub for local art and global connections, inviting both visitors and locals to engage with the vibrant cultural fabric of Brussels.
