Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel in Oslo gets upgraded

General refurbishments are scheduled this summer for the iconic building in Norway.

 

 

 All 676 rooms in 37 floors will be completely redesigned, so that the country’s largest and tallest guest house to provide its customers with a different, unforgeable hospitality experience.

“The Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel is an iconic landmark in Norway, with which the majority of Norwegians are familiar. We are very proud of the hotel and wish to give our guests the very best experience when they visit us. That is why we are investing so heavily in this upgrade,” commented the hotel’s GM, Tarje Hellebust.

The main concept will be the “BluPrint” design combining modern architecture with high functionality solutions. The project will be developed by Link Arkitektur, as the investment for the upgrades are substantial.

The rooms refurbishment are set to include custom-made furniture, fabrics and accessories, in order to meet the expectations of the most exclusive of customers. After the upgrades, Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel will be the first in Norway to offer this experience to leisure and business international travelers.

The Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel in Oslo will not close during the refurbishments and will proceed to its upgrades without disturbing the guests.
