Qatar Tourism - The Main Delegation At ATM 2023
Arabian Travel Market will serve as a platform for Qatar Tourism to unveil cutting-edge accommodations and entertainment options.
On May 1–4, 2023, the Dubai World Trade Centre will host the 30th annual Arabian Travel Market (ATM), and Qatar Tourism will be leading a group of 43 partners. This comes after Qatar's astounding achievement in hosting the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM, during which the country's hospitality and tourist business showed it could provide top-tier events.
The 603 square metre, two-story pavilion promoting Qatar will highlight the country's rich cultural heritage and cutting-edge tourist attractions. The presence of Qatar at ATM is evidence of the country's determination to maintain its earned status as a top tourist destination worldwide.
At the Qatar Tourism Organization's booth at the ATM, guests may experience a variety of one-of-a-kind activities, such as getting up close and personal with a beautiful Whale Shark. In addition, an AR selfie station will be available so that guests may capture themselves in front of Qatar's most recognisable landmarks. Furthermore, there will be an interactive room that plays picturesque places from all across Qatar, giving guests a 360-degree look of the country's highlights that they can explore and engage with in real time based on their own preferences.
Visitors to the pavilion will also be able to enjoy Arabic coffee and a cultural section depicting Souq Waqif, Qatar's most well-known traditional bazaar. Moreover, a section of ATM will be devoted to the approaching Expo 2023 Doha.
Berthold Trenkel, Qatar Tourism’s COO declared with the occasion:
“We are pleased to take part in the Arabian Travel Market and showcase Qatar’s incredible offering as a world-class tourism destination. In particular, this leading travel and tourism exhibition allows us to engage directly with core markets that we have identified as part of our 2030 strategy.
“We invite industry professionals to step into our exceptional pavilion and immersive themselves in the authentic culture and hospitality that Qatar is famed for. We look forward to highlighting the latest leisure developments taking place in Qatar and strengthening our partnerships with key travel and tourism stakeholders throughout the event.”
The Arabian Travel Market is the industry's premier international trade show, providing access to untapped markets in the Middle East. Travel and tourist hotspots from all over the globe, together with the industry's leading hotels, restaurants, tour operators, transport companies and technology companies will all be exhibiting at this year's event.
