Qatar Airways to Operate Limited Flights from 18 March

Qatar Airways has announced that it will operate a limited number of flights to and from Doha between 18 and 28 March as the closure of Qatari airspace continues to disrupt normal operations.

 

The airline said its regular scheduled services remain temporarily suspended while authorities assess the situation. Qatar Airways plans to resume full operations once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority confirms that airspace can safely reopen.

To help passengers continue their journeys, the airline will run a revised schedule with a reduced number of flights during the period. The temporary schedule is intended to provide more flexibility for travelers who still wish to fly.

Passengers holding confirmed bookings on flights to destinations included in the revised schedule will be contacted directly with updated flight details. Travelers are advised to check the airline’s website or mobile app regularly and ensure their contact information is up to date.

Qatar Airways also urged passengers not to arrive at the airport unless they have a confirmed ticket for travel, noting that flight schedules may change due to operational or regulatory developments.

The airline has introduced flexible travel options for affected customers. Passengers with bookings for travel between 28 February and 28 March 2026 can change their travel dates twice free of charge for flights up to 30 April 2026. Alternatively, they may request a refund for the unused value of their ticket.

Qatar Airways said it continues to focus on supporting passengers during the disruption while prioritizing the safety and wellbeing of both travelers and crew.
