Travelling from London to Boston and Washington for only £99 with WOW Air
WOW Air now gives you the possibility to fly over the Atlantic at cheapest prices, if you travel via Iceland. The special transatlantic flight fare was launched last year's October and now the offer is back.
Flights to Boston and Washington DC are courtesy of WOW Air, a budget Icelandic airline that serves 20 destinations across Europe and North America.
Last year's £99 offer (taxes included) rapidly sold-out, as WOW Air declares.
Departure dates for this flight are available between October 1 and December 15, and January 10 and March 10. The tickets for this dates will go on sale today at 10am.
The route begins from London Gatwick to Boston or Washington DC, via Reykjavik in Iceland. The stop-over in Reykjavik makes the flights to Boston 3 hours longer than a direct flight and 5 and a half hours longer when heading back and the flights to Washington 2 hours longer for the go and 4 hours for the return trip. Flights are on Airbus A320s and Airbus A321s.
Normally, a WOW Air flight on December 10 to Boston costs from £133 and to Washington from £247, both hand luggage only, and extra booking fee of around £10. British Airways prices for economy seats flights begin at £1,163 for Boston and £1,249 for Washington.
Currently, WOW Air flights to Reykjavik are available twice-daily on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays.
