Schiphol Unveils First Louis Vuitton Store in Lounge 2

Schiphol Airport has officially opened its first Louis Vuitton store in Lounge 2, marking a significant milestone in the airport’s ongoing transformation to enhance the passenger experience. The new store caters to thousands of intercontinental travelers every day, offering them the opportunity to explore Louis Vuitton's world of luxury fashion, accessories, and travel goods.
A Commitment to Enhancing the Travel Experience
Arthur Reijnhart, Chief Commercial Officer of Schiphol, highlighted the airport's dedication to improving its commercial offerings: “Schiphol is investing heavily to offer travellers a unique and improved experience. Our Food and Beverage services are being upgraded, Duty Free shops are being refurbished, and we are opening stunning new luxury stores with the best brands in the world. This transformation is aimed at making Schiphol a home port for world travelers.”
The opening of the Louis Vuitton store is just the beginning of a series of luxury store openings planned for Lounge 2, which serves as the shopping area for travelers flying to intercontinental destinations. The store’s modern design, combined with its prestigious offerings, is set to redefine shopping for passengers at one of the world’s busiest airports.
A Luxurious and Modern Store Design
Spanning over 200 square meters, the Louis Vuitton store in Lounge 2 reflects the brand's commitment to elegance and innovation. The store provides a welcoming environment where travelers can explore Louis Vuitton's iconic collections, including travel accessories, leather goods, shoes, and fragrances. The store’s design also incorporates a selection of artwork, including a colorful totem by Florencia Vual (Galerie Glustin) that features work by Dutch artist Hadassa Emmerich, enhancing the aesthetic experience.
Personalization for Travelers
To commemorate the opening, Louis Vuitton is offering a new, exclusive stamp design that allows travelers to personalize their Louis Vuitton leather goods, such as a passport case. This custom stamp, reminiscent of visa stamps, provides a unique and collectible memento for modern globetrotters, making it a special souvenir of their journey.
The opening of the Louis Vuitton store in Lounge 2 at Schiphol is just one part of the airport’s ongoing efforts to enhance luxury shopping options for passengers. This marks a new chapter in Schiphol’s transformation, as the airport continues to offer world-class services and retail experiences for international travelers.
