With the launch of Radisson Hua Hin, the Radisson Hotel Group is ramping up the growth of its portfolio in Thailand.

Radisson Hotel Group is to more than double the number of hotels in its portfolio by 2023, and Thailand is one of its primary target markets for the expansion.

The Group has established a new business unit in Bangkok that will provide the groundwork for its long-term development plan and provide even stronger local support for shareholders and associates. In order to achieve this goal, a dynamic business model that takes into account the specific needs of its owners via a mix of organic expansion, mergers and investments, and franchise agreements will be implemented.

As one of the most popular tourist destinations in Southeast Asia, Thailand has seen a significant increase in visitors since it reopened to the world in January without imposing any kind of testing or quarantine on visitors from outside the country. As international tourism picks back up, the coastal city of Hua Hin, known for its white sand beaches, family-friendly activities, and close proximity to the capital city, has been singled out as a promising new market for investors.

The 243 guest-rooms Radisson Resort & Spa Hua Hin is the Group's sixth Thai property, located on the beautiful gulf coast of Thailand. The new retreat caters to families with children by providing several amenities such as a kids' club, spa, fitness centre, outdoor pool, private beach access, and eight different dining options. Moreover, Hua Hin resort features a 576m2 ballroom, three spacious conference rooms, and multiple private events spaces.
