While scheduled to depart earlier from Tehran to Muscat, Oman Air flight WY 432 was further delayed due to slight runway collision with another airliner

Oman Air’s flight number WY 432 was stationary while awaiting for its take off from the Tehran Airport when its wings were accidentally clipped by a Mahan Air Airbus 310 as it passed by while taxiing on the runway.

Fortunately, no-one was hurt or at risk during the incident.

Nevertheless, the aircraft must go through strict technical inspections by Oman Air’s engineering team before returning to its usual flight schedule. According to the airliner's representatives, until the inspections will declare the aircraft fit to fly, “passengers have been informed and arrangements are currently being made to either provide accommodation in Tehran or to find alternative flight.”

Omar Air has also recently released a statement that quotes: “We apologise for the delay and resulting inconvenience, but our over-riding priority is the safety of all our passengers and crew. We are grateful for the patience and understanding shown by the affected passengers and we look forward to seeing them continue their journeys at the earliest opportunity.”
