More Flight Connections Powered by Delta And Latam

Two additional non-stop flights between the United States and South America have been announced by the two airlines.

Two of the current routes will also have their service increased.

The daily Latam service between Miami and Medellin, Colombia, will begin on October 29. Then, on the 22nd of December, Delta will launch three weekly flights connecting Atlanta and Cartagena, Colombia. On October 29th, Latam will begin service to Delta's Atlanta hub. The joint venture, which presently runs with Delta planes once a day, will also expand to three times a week from Lima, Peru. Delta will begin operating a second daily route between Atlanta and Bogota, Colombia, on the same day.

Five additional flights between the United States and South America have been announced by the two airlines since the collaboration got regulatory permission in September of last year. On July 1, there will be direct flights between Bogotá and Orlando. Beginning on August 1, flights between Sao Paulo and Los Angeles will be available. And beginning on December 16th, there will be direct flights between New York's JFK Airport and Rio de Janeiro.

Delta and Latam are able to coordinate flight scheduling, advertising, and operations because to their joint venture, which protects them from antitrust violations. Since forming their alliance, the airlines have boosted their capacity between the United States and South America by 75 percent, the carriers stated. Back in November, Latam was able to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Delta has a ten percent stake in Latam.

The Delta-Latam partnership now offers discounts on all of its brand-new services.
