Lots of UK citizens agree with Trump’s travel ban

According to a recent survey, half of the UK respondents declared that the immigration ban will not deter their US holidays.

Simply Holiday Deals has revealed its latest survey on how the controversial executive order on immigration released by US President Donald Trump will affect the holidaymakers in United Kingdom. According to the results, 55% of the interviewed citizens either agree with the ban, either are undecided about it.

The results are surprising, as public criticism on President Trump’s decision from key players in the industry was on the rise in the last weeks. For example, TripAdvisor’s CEO Steve Kaufer, vehemently condemned the controversial travel ban.

However, respondents from UK seem not to be affected by it, as the majority believes that the latest law will not influence their safety or travel plans in any way. More than this, most of the respondents declared that they would like to see a similar decision for Great Britain.

“The results of the survey were very revealing to us at Simply Holiday Deals. We anticipated overwhelming dissatisfaction and disagreement with this controversial law by the new US Whitehouse, instead we found the opposite. It appears many Brits are feeling the same as Americans these days and want change and are willing to try bold new actions in order to do so. At Simply Holiday Deals we want Great Britain to be a safe place for its citizens. That being said we are compassionate for the current global refugee crisis. We hope all human kind reaches out to help these individuals as they are people just like me and you,” explained the General Director of the agency, Brian Jones.

To get accurate results, the study interviewed 420 participants via email and social media. Nevertheless, 60% of the respondents were over the age of 56.
