KLM Adds Amsterdam–Kittilä Route for Winter 2025/26

Airlines & Airports

KLM is expanding its Finnish network this winter with a new direct route from Amsterdam Schiphol to Kittilä Airport in Lapland. The service will run from 23 November 2025 to 22 March 2026, operating once a week on Sundays with a Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

The Dutch carrier will also increase flights on its popular Amsterdam–Rovaniemi route from three to four per week during the winter season, with departures on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Petri Vuori, Senior Vice President of Sales and Route Development at Finavia, said the move will “support regional tourism and offer international travellers even better opportunities to experience Finland’s unique winter.”

KLM already serves Helsinki in addition to its Lapland routes, offering passengers from Finland extensive global connections through Amsterdam Schiphol.
