Hyatt to Debut Unbound Collection in Thailand

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced plans to bring its upscale Unbound Collection brand to Thailand for the first time, with two distinctive properties opening in Hua Hin and Bangkok.
The Barai Hua Hin is set to open in late 2026 next to the existing Hyatt Regency Hua Hin. Known for its signature destination spa, the resort will feature 90 rooms and suites, lush gardens, two restaurants, and a wellness center. The design draws on Thai healing traditions and was created by renowned Thai architect Lek Bunnag. Guests can expect a holistic wellness retreat centered around earth, water, wind, and fire—the four elements of Thai philosophy.
The second hotel, the reimagined Narai Hotel in Bangkok’s Silom district, will reopen in 2028 on the site of the original 1968 property. Set within the new Hatai development designed by Heatherwick Studio, the hotel will include 250 rooms, multiple restaurants including a rooftop venue, event spaces, a pool, and fitness facilities. The property offers easy access to Chong Nonsi BTS station and nearby business and leisure hubs.
“These projects mark an exciting chapter for Hyatt in Thailand,” said David Udell, Group President, Asia Pacific. “They reflect our focus on delivering unique, story-worthy stays in culturally rich destinations.”
The additions will bring Hyatt’s portfolio in Thailand to 17 properties, joining existing brands like Park Hyatt, Andaz, Grand Hyatt, and The Standard.
