Hyatt has opened Parian Chronicle Hotel Paros, a 50-room adults-oriented retreat on the island of Paros in Greece, marking the Destination by Hyatt brand’s first property on a Greek island and its second in the country overall.
The hotel takes its name from the ancient marble inscription found on Paros that chronicled key moments of Greek mythology and history. Located in the village of Kampos, minutes from the airport and Parikia Port, it was designed by Makridis Associates with Cycladic architecture at its core — whitewashed forms, natural stone, wood and linen, and a palette of soft neutrals inspired by Paros marble.
Of the 50 rooms and suites, 39 feature private pools, while the remaining rooms offer outdoor jacuzzis. All include spacious terraces or patios with sea views, ranging from 30 to 42 square meters. The property is reserved for guests aged 13 and above.
Dining at the hotel’s NAAO restaurant follows the island’s pace, with a breakfast of local breads, herbs, honey and cheeses, sharing-style Parian lunches built around seasonal local produce, and evening menus using Cycladic techniques such as curing, sun drying and grilling, paired with wines from Paros and the wider Cyclades.
The wellness offering centers on Nipson Spa, inspired by ancient Greek healing traditions, with a fitness center, single-sex saunas, treatment rooms, and an outdoor pool.
“Parian Chronicle Hotel Paros is a place that moves to the rhythm of the island — unhurried, generous and deeply rooted in the story of Paros,” said Nikos Koutroumanidis, General Manager.
