His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman Announced the development of Sindalah

The Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of NEOM Mohammed bin Salman has announced the development of Sindalah Island.

His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of NEOM Company Board of Directors has announced the development of Sindalah as the first luxury island destination in NEOM, and one of the most important projects to support Saudi Arabia's national tourist strategy.

Sindalah, the main port to the Red Sea that offers bespoke sailing experiences, is expected to open its doors to guests in 2024. The development is expected to create 3,500 jobs in the tourism and leisure sector.

Sindalah covers an area of 840,000 square meters. It is one of a number of islands that will soon be developed in NEOM. Each island will be designed and built according to its vision.

Sindalah, a new season that will redefine the luxury international yachting calendar, will be an addition to NEOM’s expanding tourism offerings. The marina will have 86 berths, making it a great place to accommodate luxury vessels. Offshore buoys will be home to superyachts. Sindalah will provide unique nautical experiences with 413 luxury hotel rooms and 333 high-end serviced apartments. The Red Sea will offer an unparalleled experience with a luxurious beach club and a glamorous yacht club as well as 38 distinctive culinary options.

Sindalah will be a popular destination for tourists due to its remarkable array of amenities, state-of-the-art marine facilities, and strategic location.

NEOM has partnered with top-notch leisure and hotel brands to make Sindalah a glamorous destination in the Red Sea for the yachting community. This is a result of its ability to create new tourism opportunities. NEOM plans to make the island a premier destination, surrounded by a diverse marine environment that boasts some of the most stunning coral reserves in the world.

Sindalah will soon be a well-known destination for golfers, offering a par 70 6,474-yard (7,920m) course. The 18-tee Sindalah golf course offers two unique nine-hole experiences.

Sindalah's announcement confirms that NEOM is moving at a faster pace towards achieving His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince's ambitious vision. This includes the development of flagship projects like THE LINE, which was revealed recently by His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince; TROJENA (its global mountain tourism destination that will become the Arabian Gulf’s first outdoor ski resort); and OXAGON (its reimagined manufacturing city and innovation center). All NEOM projects align to transform the way humanity lives, works, and plays in harmony with nature.
