Centurion Lounge to open at Schiphol in 2026

American Express has announced plans to open its first Centurion® Lounge in the Netherlands, set to welcome travelers at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in 2026. This will be the first lounge at Schiphol operated by a global credit card company, offering exclusive access to eligible American Express Card Members.

The new lounge will be located between piers E and F and will offer a premium yet locally inspired atmosphere. Designed in shades of blue, green, and earthy tones, the space pays homage to Amsterdam’s iconic canals and architecture. Natural light will flood through large windows overlooking the Kiss & Ride area, giving the lounge a warm and vibrant feel.

Key amenities will include high-speed Wi-Fi, comfortable seating, private workstations with charging points, and curated meals and drinks. A central coffee bar—highlighting Dutch coffee culture—will serve as a hub for connection and relaxation.

“The focus on both comfort and premium service takes the travel experience for eligible Card Members to the next level,” said Dave Stroop, Manager Terminal Development at Schiphol Commercial. “This is a valuable addition to our airport.”
