Brussels Airport opens new HiSERV facility to boost operations and sustainability
Brussels Airport and ground support equipment provider HiSERV have officially opened a new operational facility aimed at improving efficiency and supporting future growth at the airport.
The new building, located near the airport’s cargo zone, includes approximately 2,000 square metres of workshop space, more than 600 square metres of offices and a 2,400 square metre inner courtyard. The facility has been designed to support airside operations and meet the evolving needs of ground handling services.
Airport officials said the investment reflects a joint commitment to developing high-quality infrastructure that enhances performance while supporting sustainability goals.
The building features dedicated workstations, specialised maintenance areas, equipment washing zones and modern office facilities, creating an improved working environment for employees and enabling more efficient operations.
The project is the result of a long-standing partnership between Brussels Airport and HiSERV, formerly known as CTC Moyson. The collaboration aims to strengthen operational capacity while contributing to the broader development of the airport’s logistics ecosystem.
HiSERV has grown significantly in recent years, evolving from a family-owned business into a major European player in ground support equipment services. The company now operates a fleet of more than 14,000 units across multiple airports in Europe.
The new facility further reinforces Brussels Airport’s role as a key logistics and aviation hub, while supporting the transition towards more sustainable and efficient airport operations.
