Aer Lingus Launches the Biggest Summer Schedule to Date

News

Aer Lingus launched its largest ever summer 2023 schedule to UK customers, with 2.25 million seats for sale to North America.

In response to customer demand for transatlantic services, the Irish flag carrier has unveiled its largest North American summer schedule.

With 270,000 seats available to fly direct from Manchester to New York and Orlando, customers have the best choice and flexibility for booking their summer holiday.
The switch from the single-aisle Airbus A321LR aircraft to a wider-bodied A330 has increased capacity from Manchester to New York by 72%.

Susanne Carberry is Aer Lingus Chief Customers Officer. She stated: "After a very successful year flying customers to the UK over the Atlantic, it's exciting to be launching our biggest-ever summer schedule for customers.

"Flights from Manchester have proved extremely popular so we have boosted capacity by introducing larger aircraft on transatlantic services to New York, and next summer will offer 270,000 seats on sale direct from our north of England hub.

"This will give our customers even greater choice and flexibility when booking their summer holidays for 2023 and make Aer Lingus first choice for flying to North America."

Customers from the UK can fly with Aer Lingus either directly to North America via Manchester or to a variety of other destinations through its Dublin hub.
Aer Lingus will be operating 17* routes to the US next summer. This includes bringing back the popular Dublin-to-Hartford service and launching new flights from Dublin, Ohio to Cleveland, Ohio, home of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Aer Lingus offers a seasonal service from Manchester to Barbados for UK customers who are looking for winter sun. It operates until Spring 2023.
Customers from the UK can fly to Dublin via 13 convenient airports in the UK. They will also be able to get pre-clearance from the US and take Aer Lingus transatlantic flights.

These UK airports include London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Manchester.

Aer Lingus customers can fly to North America via the Dublin hub of Aer Lingus. This allows them to enjoy the benefits of US Immigration Pre-clearance prior to departure. It allows them to arrive in the US as a domestic passenger and avoids long immigration lines.

Aer Lingus offers warm and friendly service in flight. Customers can also enjoy in-flight food and access to an entire world of entertainment thanks to its state-of-the-art inflight entertainment system. This includes blockbuster movies; box sets and games.
