Alaska Airlines Adds New Main Cabin Meals from Seattle-Based Brands

Alaska Airlines Adds New Main Cabin Meals from Seattle-Based Brands

Alaska Airlines is updating its domestic Main Cabin food menu this September, adding new breakfast, lunch and dinner options alongside products from Seattle-based brands Ellenos and Evergreens.

The new menu will be available on flights beginning September 2, 2026, with passengers able to pre-order meals through the Alaska Hawaiian mobile app.

The additions include an Ellenos yogurt breakfast plate, two hot breakfast sandwiches, a spicy kale Caesar salad from Evergreens, a plant-based tofu bowl and several other meal options.

Alaska Airlines Adds Ellenos Breakfast Option

One of the new breakfast choices is the Ellenos yogurt breakfast plate, which combines the Seattle brand’s Marionberry yogurt with blueberry tea loaf and fresh fruit.

Alaska is also introducing two warm breakfast sandwiches on most flights longer than 1,100 miles.

On eastbound domestic flights and westbound services to Hawaiʻi, passengers can pre-order a pretzel bun chicken sausage breakfast sandwich. The meal includes fried egg, chicken sausage and Havarti cheese served on a warm pretzel bun.

Westbound domestic flights and eastbound flights to Hawaiʻi will offer a turkey bacon and Tillamook cheddar breakfast sandwich, combining fried egg and turkey bacon with Tillamook cheddar on a brioche bun.

Evergreens Introduces New Spicy Kale Caesar Salad

For lunch, Alaska Airlines is expanding its partnership with Seattle-founded Evergreens with a new spicy kale Caesar salad.

The salad combines romaine lettuce and kale with diced chicken breast, grape tomatoes, fresh jalapeños, aged parmesan, sunflower seeds, Caesar dressing and fresh lemon.

“We’re grateful to Alaska Airlines for championing Pacific Northwest brands and proud to bring a new Evergreens entrée onboard,” said Neil Harfert, CEO of Evergreens.

“As a Seattle-founded company, this longstanding partnership allows us to provide travelers fresh, flavorful options that accommodate a variety of dietary preferences.”

Tofu Bowl and Green Curry Join Main Cabin Menu

Several additional lunch and dinner dishes are being introduced.

A warm tamari tofu bowl provides a plant-based option made without gluten ingredients. It combines tamari-seasoned tofu and stir-fried vegetables with basmati rice.

Alaska is also adding a Thai-inspired green curry with coconut milk and chicken breast served over jasmine rice. The dish will be available on westbound flights to Hawaiʻi and eastbound flights departing the islands.

Another option is a chicken salad croissant sandwich featuring lemon-parsley chicken salad on a butter croissant, accompanied by apple slices and grapes.

The new dishes form part of Alaska’s wider effort to incorporate Pacific Northwest brands and regional flavours into its onboard experience.

Meals Can Be Pre-Ordered Up to 14 Days Before Departure

Passengers can order the new meals through the Alaska Hawaiian mobile app.

Pre-orders open up to 14 days before departure and remain available until approximately 20 hours before takeoff.

Alaska says its meal programme includes at least one hot option on flights longer than 1,100 miles.

The September refresh continues the airline’s strategy of using partnerships with Pacific Northwest companies to differentiate its inflight food offering while providing passengers with a broader selection of fresh, hot and plant-based meals.
