10-11 Carlton House Terrace Ready For Reservations Beginning April 2024

Corporate, association and non-profit customers will be able to use the venues here for a wide variety of local and international events.
After a £9.6 million extensive renovation process, the refurbished event halls at Carlton House Terrace, the residence of The British Academy for humanities and social sciences, will be available for booking in April 2024.
Conference and event organizers who are interested in using these innovative new spaces may immediately collaborate with the venue's staff, reserve space, and confirm participation.
During the renovation, three double-height event rooms with cutting-edge event technology and multimedia amenities will be created from previously hidden or underutilized locations. The newest facilities can accommodate up to 125 guests. With the latest upgrades, 10-11 Carlton House Terrace will be able to host a wider variety of events either in person, through hybrid, or entirely online.
Clients from the business, association, and non-profit sectors will be able to leverage the venues by holding conferences, meetings, lectures, seminars, festivals, performances, talks, networking opportunities, and dining events of all sizes and objectives, both locally and internationally.
“This project marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for {10-11} Carlton House Terrace. The new design unlocks existing, underused spaces, transforming the historic building for the future and enabling us to serve growing audiences,” stated Catherine Owen, head of venue sales and marketing.
Wright & Wright Architects have done an excellent job of incorporating modern elements into the Grade I listed structure. With the installation of double glazing as part of the renovation, 10-11 Carlton House Terrace have become the first Grade I listed building in Westminster to have this climate-controlling feature. Using air source heat pumps to power the whole heating system is another way the facility is showing its eco-friendly ambitions.
"The venue's transformation will create flexible rooms for new ways of meeting and sharing in digital, hybrid, and in-person formats," added Catherine Owen. Moreover, the company is thrilled to provide its guests a blend of the old and the contemporary, while the tech-enabled rooms coexisting with the beautiful Georgian building. Additionally, the low-energy sustainable building solutions are a cutting-edge strategy that models how the business sustainably incorporates the modern into the traditional. The initiative is using ecologically friendly, long-lasting designs to lessen the impact on the planet. Having these new rooms ready to welcome visitors in the new year will completely revamp the company's service offering.
Wolfson Foundation's main contribution of £5 million, part of a substantial grant of £10 million to boost the social and humanistic disciplines, made the recent innovation achievable. This renovation is the most extensive work done on the structure since its opening over 120 years ago.
