Regent’s New Ship Gets a Premium Sports Deck with Padel and Putting Green

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has unveiled the outdoor deck concept for its upcoming Seven Seas Prestige, revealing a purpose-built Solara Sports Deck and a redesigned Solara Pool Deck that together represent the most ambitious open-air layout the ultra-luxury line has ever put to sea.

The Solara Sports Deck, perched at the very top of the ship on Deck 14, is Regent’s first-ever named sports deck and introduces several firsts for the fleet. Guests will find a competition-sized padel and pickleball court framed by ocean views, an 18-hole putting green, a sunrise and sunset yoga area, and Conductr Supercharged Shuffleboard digital gaming units — the first such installation in the Regent fleet. Rather than standard sports netting, the space uses polished wood framing, architectural paneling, and integrated planters to keep the aesthetic in line with the ship’s interior design language. After dark, custom LED perimeter lighting transforms the deck into an evening social space for play and stargazing.

A sheltered aft pavilion rounds out the deck with mini-bowling, chess, covered ping pong, and baggo, all surrounded by built-in banquettes. The deck will be open 24 hours a day with curated tournaments and wellness classes from the ship’s maiden voyage.

The Solara Pool Deck on Deck 12 features a 48ft x 29ft main pool with two whirlpool spas and a two-tiered sun lounger arrangement, alongside the Solara Pool Grill and an artisanal pizzeria, both included in Regent’s all-inclusive offering. Deck 14 serves as the entry point to two specialty restaurants: Pacific Rim, the line’s pan-Asian favorite, and Azure, a new Mediterranean mezze venue making its debut on Prestige.

Seven Seas Prestige launches in December 2026 and is Regent’s first new ship class in a decade.
