Lisbon, Portugal welcomes the new Cristiano Ronaldo hotel

Pestana Hotel Group has recently announced the opening of the unique Pestana CR7 Lisboa Hotel, located in the central Baixa Pombalina neighborhood. Just a few steps away from Terreiro do Paço, the first CR7 hotel will be found in the heart of the Portuguese capital.

Converted by David Sinclair Architects firm, the new building featuring 82 rooms will account for the Pestana Hotel Group growing to 90 hotels in 16 countries.

The new lifestyle hotel is already considered to be an innovative concept in the hospitality industry and is expected to provide guests with the most remarkable of experiences.

The CR7 hotel is striking after just a few steps from the entrance. The lobby welcomes guests with enormous screens that present Cristiano Ronaldo’s life story in the cheering sounds of a football stadium fans. As the entire hotel is a Cristiano Ronaldo tribute, tourists accommodating here can discover a detailed sequence of seven footsteps on the room carpets that replicate the real legendary sprint of the footballer.

Besides the hotel featuring key details of their favorite sport, football enthusiasts checking in at the CR7 Lisboa will also benefit stunning views of the Rua da Prata, Rua Augusta, the Tejo River and the amazing Lisbon. CR7 Corner Bar & Bistro managed by chef Rui Martins is the perfect choice to enjoy traditional Portuguese dishes or classic menus while listening to your favorite music.
