BA Euroflyer, the British Airways subsidiary, is launching a new direct route from London Gatwick to Rovaniemi in Finnish Lapland for the 2026–2027 winter season, with flights beginning on December 4, 2026.
The service will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays, giving UK travelers a direct connection to the gateway city for Santa Claus Village and the wider Rovaniemi region. British Airways will also continue running its existing Gatwick–Ivalo winter route, meaning the airline now covers two Finnish Lapland destinations from London this season.
The addition of Rovaniemi strengthens UK access to one of Europe’s most popular winter destinations, popular for Northern Lights experiences, reindeer safaris, and snow activities during the Arctic winter months.
