Anantara Hotels & Resorts to Debut Luxury Resort on Bali’s Seseh Beach

Introduction of Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Resort

Global hotel owner and operator Minor Hotels has signed an agreement to manage a new-build resort and branded residences on Bali’s Seseh Beach. Scheduled to open in 2027, the Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Resort will be the first luxury beachfront resort in the area and the third Anantara property in Bali.

Prime Location and Unique Architecture

Seseh Beach Setting

The Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Resort is situated on the black volcanic shores of Seseh Beach, just a short drive from popular southern coast destinations like Canggu and Seminyak, and an hour from Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS).

Inspired Design

Renowned British architect John Dawes designed the resort, drawing inspiration from Bali’s mystical Barong, a dragon-like guardian. This inspiration lends the complex a sense of strength, grace, and fantasy. The resort will feature 216 keys, including rooms and suites ranging from 52 sqm to 120 sqm, providing a serene oceanfront sanctuary. The Cocoon Residences blend nature and modern elegance, offering harmony between indoor and outdoor spaces and stunning views of the Indian Ocean.

Guests will have access to world-class surfing on Seseh Beach and a range of wellness and recreational facilities, including:

Development and Management

Collaboration with Taryan Group

The resort is developed and owned by Taryan Group, a leading real estate and development company founded by Artur Mkhitaryan. The Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Residences will be available for purchase through Taryan Group, with Anantara providing overall resort management.

Existing and Upcoming Properties

Minor Hotels currently operates two properties in Bali: Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort and Avani Seminyak Bali Resort. The hotel group is expanding its footprint with the upcoming Anantara Ubud Bali Resort, set to open in September. This new resort will bring Anantara’s authentic luxury to the island’s interior with 66 suites and pool villas, and 15 Anantara-branded residences.
