Louvre Hotels Group has opened HOSHO Bordeaux Centre Victoire, bringing its hybrid hotel-hostel brand to Bordeaux as it prepares to expand HOSHO to around ten properties across France within the next two years.
Located 600 metres from Place de la Victoire, the new property offers 80 beds across 16 rooms, combining shared accommodation with private booking options and communal spaces aimed at solo travellers, groups and guests staying for longer periods.
It becomes the second HOSHO location in France and strengthens Louvre Hotels Group’s presence in Bordeaux.
HOSHO Combines Hostel and Budget Hotel Features
HOSHO is positioned between a traditional hostel and a budget hotel, combining shared accommodation and social spaces with hotel-style facilities and a greater emphasis on privacy.
Across the brand, shared rooms typically accommodate between four and eight guests, with options to reserve rooms privately.
Properties also offer female-only shared accommodation, secure luggage lockers and beds designed to provide additional privacy within dormitory-style rooms.
Digital check-in and check-out systems are available depending on the location.
Louvre Hotels Group says the concept is intended to respond to demand for flexible and affordable urban accommodation without sacrificing basic comfort and security.
Bordeaux Property Offers 80 Beds and 250-Square-Metre Garden
HOSHO Bordeaux Centre Victoire has 16 rooms accommodating a total of 80 guests.
Room capacities range from three to eight people and include triple rooms as well as a room fully accessible to guests with reduced mobility.
Communal areas have been designed to serve multiple purposes throughout the day, functioning as places to eat, work, relax and meet other travellers.
The property’s social spaces include a bar, a games room with darts and a 250-square-metre garden.

Food and beverage options include breakfast, all-day snacks and bar service. HOSHO has also partnered with Bordeaux brewery Azimut to offer locally produced craft beers.
A team of seven employees operates the property.
“With the opening of HOSHO – Bordeaux Centre Victoire, we are strengthening the rollout of a brand that directly addresses the evolving expectations of today’s travelers,” said Krystel Blondeau, France General Director at Louvre Hotels Group.
“This second location in France illustrates our ambition to develop differentiating hospitality concepts that successfully combine affordability, high-quality experiences, and local integration.”
HOSHO Plans Around 10 Hotels in France
Louvre Hotels Group plans to accelerate the expansion of HOSHO in the French market, targeting a network of approximately ten properties within the next two years.
Future locations will focus on major metropolitan areas, city centres and well-connected districts close to major transport hubs.
The strategy targets travellers looking for accommodation that falls between conventional hostels and traditional budget hotels, particularly solo travellers and groups seeking flexible room configurations.
HOSHO is one of the budget brands within Louvre Hotels Group, whose wider portfolio includes Première Classe, Kyriad, Campanile, TULIP Hotels & Residences, Golden Tulip and Royal Tulip.
The group operates more than 1,750 hotels across 70 countries and is a subsidiary of Jin Jiang International Holdings.
