LOT Polish Airlines Launches Gdańsk–Oslo and Bergen Routes
LOT Polish Airlines is adding two new direct routes to its network this spring, connecting Gdańsk in northern Poland with Oslo and Bergen in Norway — bringing the two countries closer for both leisure and business travellers.
The Oslo route takes off first, with its inaugural flight on April 29, followed by the Bergen service launching a day later on April 30. Gdańsk–Oslo will operate five times a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with a flight time of around one hour and 35 minutes. The Bergen connection runs three times a week — Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays — and takes approximately one hour and 50 minutes.
For Norwegian airport operator Avinor, the new services represent a meaningful boost to connectivity between the two countries. The routes open up easier access to Gdańsk for Norwegian travellers — a city known for its mix of historic architecture, Baltic coastal culture, and a growing modern business environment. In the opposite direction, Polish passengers gain more convenient options for reaching both Oslo and Bergen for holidays or work trips.
LOT already operates routes between Oslo and Warsaw, as well as Stavanger and Warsaw, meaning these two new services from Gdańsk mark a significant expansion of the airline's footprint in the Norwegian market.
Tickets are available through LOT Polish Airlines' standard sales channels.
