Air Arabia Launches Twice-Daily Gatwick to Sharjah Flights

Air Arabia has begun twice-daily service between London Gatwick and Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, with the first flight departing on July 4. The new route operates from Gatwick’s North Terminal, offering morning and evening departures to give passengers flexibility when planning trips to the UAE and beyond.

Sharjah sits less than 30 kilometers from Dubai, making it a convenient gateway to one of the Middle East’s busiest leisure and business destinations. Air Arabia, based in Sharjah, is one of the region’s leading low-cost carriers.

The route is the 11th new airline launch at London Gatwick this year and adds another Middle East connection to the airport’s growing summer network of over 60 airlines and 230 destinations.

“The twice-daily schedule offers excellent flexibility for passengers and strengthens our connectivity to the Middle East,” said Jonny Macneal, Head of Aviation Development at London Gatwick.

“This new connection further strengthens connectivity between both nations supporting growing demand for air travel while fostering tourism, business and cultural exchange,” added Adel Al Ali, Group CEO of Air Arabia.
