MGallery Collection is expanding its international portfolio in 2026 with four new properties across Greece, France and the Maldives, including the brand’s first hotel in the Maldives.
Three of the hotels have already opened this summer, while a fourth property, Nírema Hotel & Spa Samos, is scheduled to welcome its first guests in September.
The latest additions reflect MGallery’s focus on smaller, individually designed hotels with a strong connection to their destinations, ranging from a 35-room retreat in Mykonos to a private-island resort in the Maldives.
Each property also introduces its own version of the brand’s signature “M Moment”, offering guests an experience built around the culture, landscape or history of the destination.
Kove Hotel & Spa brings MGallery to a quieter side of Mykonos
Kove Hotel & Spa Mykonos – MGallery Collection opened in May 2026 between Ornos and Korfos, a short distance from Mykonos Town.
With just 35 rooms and suites, the property takes a more intimate approach to the popular Greek island, combining whitewashed architecture with natural textures and traditional Cycladic forms.
Selected suites feature private Jacuzzis or plunge pools, while interiors incorporate locally produced objects made from olive wood, ceramics, stone and woven fibres.
The hotel’s eNa restaurant focuses on seasonal ingredients and local produce, complemented by a rooftop terrace overlooking the coast.
Wellness is centred around the Cave Spa, where stone interiors and treatments inspired by local ingredients reference the island’s natural landscape.
For its M Moment, Kove offers a private early-morning voyage to the archaeological island of Delos, allowing guests to explore the ancient site around sunrise before the arrival of the day’s regular ferry traffic.
Bel Hotel Oléron opens on France’s Atlantic coast
MGallery added another French property in June with the opening of Bel Hotel Oléron Thalasso & Spa on Île d’Oléron.
Located between pine forest and the Atlantic Ocean on Gatseau beach, the hotel has 102 rooms, including eight suites.
Every room opens onto a private balcony or terrace, while the interiors combine aged parquet, pale timber, cement tiles and marble with a colour palette influenced by the surrounding coastline.
Food is overseen by chef Pierre Gagnaire, with menus incorporating produce from local fishermen, oyster farmers and growers.
A significant part of the property is dedicated to wellness. The Spa & Thalasso includes 27 treatment rooms, an indoor swimming pool, hammam, glass-walled sauna and herbal tearoom, with treatments developed alongside French skincare brand Phytomer.
Its signature M Moment is a private sunset picnic overlooking the Atlantic, featuring local food and wine.
V Villas Maldives marks MGallery’s Maldives debut
June also saw MGallery enter the Maldives with the opening of V Villas Maldives at Mirihi – MGallery Collection.
The resort occupies the private island of Mirihi in the South Ari Atoll, approximately 30 minutes by seaplane from Malé.
The property has 42 villas, including four new overwater villas with large private pools. Accommodation comes with panoramic ocean views and private butler service.
Studio Gronda designed the interiors using natural materials including local pinewood, linen and timber, alongside handwoven details and ceramics produced by Maldivian artisans.
The Mirihi Maa suite provides larger indoor and outdoor living areas, a private swimming pool and direct access to the lagoon.
Three dining venues are available across the island. Dhonvelli focuses on relaxed ocean-to-table dining, while the overwater Muraka specialises in locally sourced seafood. Akoya Sea Lounge serves cocktails overlooking the Indian Ocean.
The Mirihi Spa combines local botanicals with treatments including massage, mineral salt scrubs, meditation, sound healing and aerial yoga.
For its M Moment, guests can board the resort’s private Mirihi Thari yacht for trips through the Ari Atoll in search of whale sharks, manta rays and sea turtles.
Nírema Hotel & Spa Samos to open in September
MGallery’s next opening is scheduled for September 2026 on the Greek island of Samos.
Nírema Hotel & Spa Samos – MGallery Collection will be located at the entrance to Vathy, overlooking Vathy Bay and the Ampelos mountains.
The property will offer 72 rooms, including eight suites with private pools and large terraces. Guests will also have access to a dedicated beachfront area.
Food and beverage facilities will include a sea-view à la carte restaurant, a pool bar with a focus on mixology and an intimate wine cellar.
The latter will draw on Samos’ long winemaking tradition and its well-known Muscat wines, with tastings and pairings available close to the Samos Wine Museum.
Wellness facilities will include a spa, fitness centre, outdoor swimming pool and private beach.
Nírema’s signature experience, called The Cup of Pythagoras – A Samian Wine Ritual, will combine local Muscat wine with storytelling around the island’s history and its connection to the ancient Greek philosopher Pythagoras.
Destination-led experiences drive MGallery’s expansion
While the four properties differ considerably in scale and setting, Accor is using their local character as the central element of MGallery’s positioning.
The 2026 additions range from established Mediterranean leisure destinations such as Mykonos and Samos to the Atlantic coast of France and the highly competitive luxury resort market of the Maldives.
The expansion also gives MGallery a stronger presence in the resort and wellness segment, with all four hotels incorporating substantial spa or wellbeing offerings alongside destination-specific experiences.
The properties participate in Accor’s ALL loyalty programme, with reservations available through MGallery and Accor’s booking platforms.
