The new service brings an additional 4,000 ski seats to Jet2.com’s winter network, making Verona an exclusive route from Edinburgh Airport. With morning departures, travelers can enjoy convenient flight times for maximizing their time on the slopes.
Gateway to the Italian Alps
From Verona, passengers gain access to some of Italy’s top ski resorts, including:
Val di Fassa – One of the largest ski areas in the Trentino region.
Madonna di Campiglio – A premier resort in the Brenta Dolomites.
Cortina d’Ampezzo – Known for its stunning Dolomite scenery and world-class runs.
This addition means Jet2.com will now fly to Verona from two UK bases — Edinburgh and Manchester — across both Winter 25/26 and Winter 26/27, giving skiers and snowboarders even more options to reach the Italian Alps.
Jet2.com’s ski programme spans ten UK airports (including Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle, and London Stansted), offering extensive flexibility for snow sports fans. Travelers benefit from VIP customer service, plus 10kg hand luggage, 22kg hold baggage, and 22kg ski carriage allowances.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said:
“We’re thrilled to expand our ski programme by adding Verona from Edinburgh Airport. This route offers fantastic access to some of the Italian Alps’ best ski resorts for beginners and experts alike, and we know it will be a hit with snow sports enthusiasts this winter and next.”
