Security checks to increase the terrorist threat

World Security
Security checks at airports terminals increase the terrorist threat, stated on Wednesday the German Airports Association (ADV), a day after the terrible attacks that hit the Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul, killing 41 people, reports DPA

"Suicide attackers are looking for soft targets such as queues at security checkpoints," ADV‘s chief executive, Ralph Beisel, said.
As a better alternative to security checks at the entrances to the airport, Beisel suggested an increase in electronic surveillance of passengers and stricter checks of cars made by police at the airport. He added that passengers who have abnormal or suspicious behavior should be questioned.
Terrorist attacks on March 22 in Brussels International Airport and the one that occurred on Tuesday in the Istanbul's Ataturk International Airport have reignited the debate on how to ensure security at airports, says DPA. The Turkish authorities declared Wednesday to be a mourning day after the triple bombing at Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul, writes France Presse, citing information broadcast by a television station.
The number of the victims of the attack committed on Tuesday night in Istanbul reached 41 dead and 239 wounded, the governor's office announced the Turkish metropolis, Reuters and DPA. According to him, 13 victims are foreigners (five Saudis, two Iraqis, a Ukrainian, an Iranian, an Uzbek, a Tunisian, a Jordanian and Chinese) and three of them also hold Turkish citizenship.
The release mentions that 109 of the wounded have been discharged.
