Ryanair to introduce corporate jet services

Travel Business

The low-cost airline strategically repositions on the air-carriers market by launching a corporate jet service to be hired at hourly rates

A newly refitted Boeing 737-700 plane with a 60 passengers business class seats capacity will be available to be hired at hourly competitive rates depending on fees of destination airports.

The customized private charter offers a luxurious interior, comfortable leather seats, more leg-room and fine catering facilities.

As the jet, “ideal for private corporate, team or group travel”, can operate flights of up to six hours duration, North Africa, Turkey and Israel will be listed among the destinations of the new Ryanair business flights schedule.

Ryanair's spokesman declared about the company's strategic move:

“More than 25 million business travellers fly with Ryanair every year. Now, business and group travellers can also enjoy the benefits of Ryanair’s corporate jet service, as we offer a customised Ryanair Boeing 737-700 for private charter.”

With this latest decision, Ryanair’s is attempting to boost its image and aim for a higher, wider market, especially because easyJet, its direct competitor, has launched the same business service back in the summer of 2014.

Ryanair is considered to be Europe’s largest budget airline, that operates in more than 1600 routes in 31 countries. Over 100 million customers annually chose Ryanair's services, in both economy and business class.
