Golfasian wins prestigious trophy at World Golf Awards

Golfasian has won Asia's Best Golf Tour Operator trophy at the first ever World Golf Awards gala that took place in Portugal and was hosted at the Conrad Algarve.
Nena Huwae, Golfasian European marketing manager, received the trophy from Steve Rider – the event's host and ex-anchor for the BBC's golf broadcasts.
The voters were from all over the world and comprised of industry experts, senior executives and professionals from the tourism, travel and golfing industry.
Besides the best golf tour operator category, other awards were given for best golf course, best golf resort and best golf destination.
Mark Siegel, Golfasian's managing director, said: "Since founding Golfasian in 1997 we have always aimed to offer both the best possible golfing experience in Asia and exceptional value-for-money.
"Now, Golfasian wants to thank the 450 worldwide golf tour operators and the 67,000 golfers who have entrusted us to get them to their golfing destinations safely.
"To receive this acknowledgement is very humbling and strengthens our belief for our goal and strive to provide high class services at industry-leading prices for all of our Asian destinations."
